The new intelligent four-drive electric mixing technology Hi4 has been officially released. H (Hybrid) represents hybrid, i (intelligent) represents intelligent, and 4 represents (4WD) four-drive system. The new Hi4 intelligent four-drive electric mixing technology takes "four-drive experience, two-drive price, four-drive performance, and two-drive energy consumption" as the core. The technology will be used for the first time in the recently launched new Harvard new energy models. Great Wall Motor's full range of new energy products will also be widely available in all-wheel-drive in 2024, and the technology will be fully open source in the future.

The new intelligent all-wheel-drive electric hybrid technology Hi4 has two powertrains with A system power range of 220-340kW, which can cover A-C class models. 1.5L/1.5T hybrid special engine, the highest thermal efficiency can reach 41.5%, compared with the previous generation model, the front end accessories are completely cancelled, the fuel consumption is also reduced by 6%-7%, the front drive module transmission efficiency of 98%, the rear drive module motor efficiency of 96.5%. Combined with the low internal resistance battery (19.94kWh and 27.5kWh), which has the function of fast charge, the battery can run more than 100km.

In terms of driving mode, the Great Wall Hi4 hybrid system adopts series and parallel +2 gears + front and rear axle dual motor architecture. Compared with the previous generation, it adds pure electric four-drive, parallel four-drive and two-axle energy recovery mode. "Three engines and nine modes" can meet the vast majority of vehicle scenarios.

High-performance core components are not simple superposition of functions, but through the front and rear axle double motor series and parallel electric four-drive new configuration, so that the vehicle efficiency plays a better role. By means of dynamic decoupling and efficient dynamic adjustment of dual motors in front and rear axles, the new Hi4 expands the application scenario of series and parallel configuration of traditional dual motors, which can realize the improvement of power performance, economy and road adaptability in all working conditions at full speed. At the same time, the new Hi4 has a more perfect 50:50 axle load distribution, allowing the vehicle to achieve a higher performance ceiling.
