Exhibition introduction:
Messe Frankfurt uses the "international brand strategy" as a guiding strategy for its global business, and it has achieved great success: of the more than 100 exhibitions it holds each year, about 50 are held outside Germany. Among them, Automechanika is one of Messe Frankfurt's most successful brands globally: the brand has a global series of 15 shows in 14 countries. Automechanika Birmingham is the latest addition to the Automechanika series. Frankfurt and Forest Exhibition are working together to create the UK's largest professional exhibition for automotive parts and after-sales services. And the show is strongly backed by the Society of Motor Manufacturers (SMMT).
Market analysis:
I. Location advantage:
The British mainland is located in the British Isles to the northwest of the European continent, surrounded by the North Sea, the English Channel, the Celtic Sea, the Irish Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. An island country in Western Europe consisting of England, Scotland, and Wales on the island of Great Britain, Northern Ireland to the northeast of Ireland, and a series of dependent islands. Birmingham is located in the middle of England, on the main transport line between London and Liverpool. It is 190km from London and takes an hour and 20 minutes by train. Convenient transportation. The nearby cities are dense. Rich in mineral resources.
Ii. Economic Environment:
As an important trading entity, economic power and financial center, the UK is the sixth largest economy in the world and one of the richest, most developed and highest living standards countries in the world. Birmingham, Britain's second largest city after London, was built on trade and accounts for a quarter of the country's output. It is one of the major manufacturing centers in the country. Various industrial sectors, mainly heavy industry. The automobile industry is large. Birmingham is the largest and most concentrated industrial area in the world.
Iii. Industry Environment:
Britain is an important automobile market in the world and Europe, and its market capacity ranks third in Europe. The UK is the world's fourth largest producer of cars and the second largest producer of premium cars, with more than 40 car manufacturing companies producing in the UK, including some of the world's most famous car brands. New car sales in the UK continued to grow in May 2015, up 2.4% year-on-year, according to figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers (SMMT). Passenger car registrations in the UK market rose 2.4% to 198,706 last month compared with 194,032 in the same period last year. In the year to May, the British car market had been growing for 39 months. In 2014, 1.6 million motor vehicles and 2.5 million engines were produced in the UK, with an export rate of more than 80%. In 2012, the AA, government and industry invested £3 million to increase the value of the UK primary supply chain. Since then, the UK car manufacturer has spent more than £1 million on repurchases. As the industry continues to grow, so does the need. Therefore, the need to expand the industry chain of the automobile industry needs to be solved urgently. Credit spending and low interest rates have fuelled a rapid recovery in the UK car market, which is expected to sell 2.45 million cars in 2015. Around four-fifths of buyers in Britain opt for a so-called individual contract scheme, where they "rent" a car for three years with a loan and then trade it in for a new one. British government regulations, three years after the use of new cars, in order to ensure driving safety, must carry out annual inspection, if the annual inspection fails, must replace the relevant parts. Therefore, the demand for auto parts is stable. The volume of automobile trade between China and the UK is small. According to the statistics of the UK, in 2007, the export of automobile products from the UK to China was 306.9 million pounds, accounting for 1.38 of the export of the UK automobile industry, and the import from China was 243 million pounds, less than 0.64% of the total import of automobiles from the UK. It occupies the 16th place in the import and export of British automobile products, which is inconsistent with the status of both China and the UK as major automobile producers. It has great potential for future development.
